ENG 122 - Ideas, Expressions and Structure II Credits: 3
Description The sequel to ENG 121 that provides a review of grammar, punctuation and mechanics, sentence structure and sentence style, and the rhetorical modes of writing. Emphasis is placed on expository and argumentative essays and the research paper. The course is based upon three days of instruction and one day of required laboratory work to enhance writing proficiency. The ACT COMPASS exit examination in English is required and will be computed as a component of the overall grade. A minimum grade of “C” in course work and a minimum grade of “C” on the EPE are required to pass the course.
Prerequisite: ENG 121
