BIOL 320 - Molecular Biology Credits: 4
Description This course is designed to introduce students to various molecular biology concepts and techniques. It will begin with a general overview of the fundamentals of molecular biology followed by more detailed molecular biology techniques. The uniqueness of this course is that it would be team taught by professors from all disciplines within the Division. Students will learn how to design, implement, and analyze experiments by exposing them to basic research techniques in module format by participating faculty members. The interdisciplinary projects outlined in the course will provide a microcosm for how research is carried in the scientific at- large.
